I'm Gilda Mitchell, the owner and interior designer at Style for Life Interiors specializing in residential interior design. I work in person with local clients, while out-of-area clients have the convenience of virtual meetings. I focus on coastal cities from Palm Beach to Stuart, Florida, including the barrier islands. My design background goes back 20 years, and I am a Florida Licensed Designer.

My passion is helping busy professionals who don't have the time or inclination to handle their design projects, Do-It-Yourselfer's who need a project roadmap to follow, or individuals needing occasional advice.

I work well within the framework of already established teams, whereby the builder and the architect are already on board. However, I am also available to help establish the team and act in the owner's representative's capacity, making the project and process much more enjoyable, especially for an out-of-state client!

I am a Certified Living in Place Professional specializing in interior design, making all homes accessible, healthy and safe. I create beautiful, connected environments that improve lives and promote independence and dignity for all ages and abilities by incorporating products that "hide in plain sight" without disrupting aesthetics and avoiding an "institutional" vibe.
